The Nelson Public Library is launching a Library Pop-Up at Six-Mile on the North Shore. For the month of March, every Friday morning at 10:30 am, the library will set up shop in the Francophone school, L’ecole des Sentiers-alpins, 2780 BC Highway 3A, Nelson.
“I’m excited about this new initiative,” says Library literacy coordinator Melodie Rae Storey. “Libraries can offer so much to young children that will serve them their entire lives.”
The hour long program is aimed at children from birth to six years old and will include story time, Mother Goose songs and snacks. There will also be an opportunity to check out Nelson library books. This is a free program with no registration required. Anyone with questions may contact Storey at email@example.com
