All too often people experience a period of incapacity, towards the end of their lives, when they are unable to make their own decisions and care for themselves. What happens then? There are legal steps which can be taken now, while they have the ability to make their own decisions. This can determine how they will be cared for in the event they become incapacitated at some future time.

We will talk about Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Care Planning, Representation Agreements, MOST forms and other legal documents and how they all fit together, so that you can live with some peace of mind, knowing that your wishes for your future will be respected.

‘Advanced Care Planning and End of Life Issues’ presentation and discussion with Rhonda Ruston, Q.C. Lawyer will be held Saturday, November 18, 1:30 to 3:30 pm at St. Andrew’s Heritage Hall, 4th Street in Kaslo.

Sponsored by Hospice Society of North Kootenay Lake in conjunction with a Village of Kaslo Municipal Grant. For more details call 250-353-2299, or email
