Take a plunge for the Langham!

What’s the best way to shrug off the old year and start the new one bright-eyed, clearheaded and ready to go? Taking a refreshing dip in Kootenay Lake of course!

On January 1, 2018 the Langham Cultural Society presents the popular Polar Bear Plunge. For over ten years, the Plunge has put the FUN back in fundraiser and become a popular family friendly signature Kaslo event. The Plunge takes place in beautiful Kaslo Bay Park as running, screeching plungers leap into the ice cold waters at noon sharp. After their dip the plungers come running (faster) and screeching (louder) towards hot dogs, hot chocolate, hot fire, good cheer and the warm embrace of family and friends.

Pledge sheets for plungers are available at Willow Home Gallery, Sunnyside Naturals and the Langham office in Kaslo, throughout December. Gather as many sponsors as you can in support of the Langham Cultural Society.

We invite you to gather pledges, take a plunge for the Langham and celebrate the New Year with us! www.thelangham.ca
