Get into the festive spirit at the annual Rotary Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday, December 11 at the earlier time of 7 pm in The Bailey Theatre.
Talented local groups will perform beautiful music celebrating the holiday season to entertain us.
The five choirs participating this year are: St. Michael’s School, Trail Harmony, Kootenay Women’s Ensemble, Rossland Glee Club, and the Salvation Army. The Maple Leaf Band will perform before and throughout the show as they accompany carol sing-a-longs between the choirs.
The carol festival is a good time to gather as a community and support a great cause. The concert is a fundraiser for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Fund.
Every year the Salvation Army expects to provide food for 2,000 people and toys to over 150 children through its Christmas Hamper Program. That is why they appreciate the support of the Rotary Club and the greater community, particularly at this time of year.
On show night, the theatre doors will open at 6:30 pm, with a musical prelude by the Maple Leaf Band from 7:15 pm until the carols begin at 7:30 pm. Entry is by cash donation.
Join everyone for a lovely, heart-warming evening at The Bailey Theatre! See you there!
