Taghum Hall offers a series of fall events that are all about celebrating creativity, one another, and perhaps making the world a little smaller.
Taghum Hall’s annual Harvest Festival happens Sunday, October 20 from 10am to 3pm. Enjoy live music in the gazebo, kids’ activities, fun competitions, delicious food, and more than 40 vendors offering home-grown or home-made delights. Admission is by donation.
The Annual General Meeting of the Taghum Community Society, which oversees Taghum Hall, happens Thursday, October 24 at 6:30pm. Members and interested members of the public are invited to attend the meeting—and there will be cheesecake! Memberships may be purchased for $2 at the meeting.
There’s a workshop happening November 2 and 9 from 9am – noon at Taghum Hall led by an artist who really knows her way around a sewing machine. At Christmas Crafts with Bernadette LaBrie, participants will create beautiful table and tree decorations in plenty of time for the holidays. Some basic sewing experience is all that’s needed; materials are provided. Register for one or both sessions at www.taghumhall.ca.
There are always good things happening at Taghum Hall, with www.taghumhall.ca the place to go for information, tickets, or to sign up for the monthly newsletter and keep on top of all the goings-on at this area’s busiest community hall.
